Controlled Products

Products which are solvent based, aerosols or any other item which may cause harm or injury are available to purchase by persons sixteen years of age and older. Photo ID may be required. We reserve the right to refuse service.

Returns / Exchange Policy

In addition to manufacturers guarantees on selected products, Northshore Distributors and its suppliers provide a guarantee of acceptable quality on every product. By law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, this does not include consequential (indirect) loss or damage.
We recommend you retain your receipt, as we will require proof that you purchased the product from us. Our staff will be able to advise you whether a refund, exchange, repair or replacement is available.


Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange on the following items unless a warranty or guarantee is breached.

  • Custom made products.

  • Any products specifically cut or designed to size at your request.


Delivery times will vary depending on your location. Currently stocked items will be dispatched same day or next day. If an item is out of stock we will order from our supplier immediately and mark your order as priority.
Customers must inspect the goods upon taking delivery and any shortage, discrepancy, defect, wrong specification or similar problem must be notified to Northshore Distributors as soon as you become aware of it, and in any event within 7 days of delivery.
If your order is sent via Australia Post you will receive a tracking number for your shipment. Track shipment here.
Orders over 25kg of weight or volume or 1.2mtrs in length will be sent with an alternative shipper.
If your order is sent from our office you will be supplied with a tracking number and details for that company.

Warranty Policy

Our Promise; we will always endeavor to be as quick & efficient as possible when handling warranty claims.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure if the goods provided the following reasonable conditions are met:

  • The complete product is returned to Northshore Distributors store where originally purchased, freight pre-paid by the purchaser and found on inspection to be suffering from a material or constructional fault of design defect.

  • Northshore Distributors will exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss (eg. Contractor on site) we will not be liable for damage, loss or injury suffered as a result of any person failing to follow instructions relating to the Goods modifying them, failing to appropriately maintain or store them or using them for an unintended purpose.

  • The product has not been subject to misuse, neglect or involved in an accident.

  • The product is not doing what is was specifically designed to do.

  • The required repairs are a consequence of normal & reasonable expected use.

Collections – Store Pick up

After placing an order, your goods must be collected within 7 days of us informing you that the goods are ready for collection. If they are not we will assume that you have cancelled your order. Goods uncollected after that time may be resold by Northshore Distributors. We will need to verify your identity on collection.

Security Policy

When purchasing from Northshore Distributors, card details are transmitted through a secure application programming interface. Card data is not hosted by Northshore Distributors after processing.
